The WEU don’t have workplace reps to avoid conflicts of interest. Instead, our independent representatives (Reps) are based across the country, ensuring they can fully support you without employer influence.
The advantage of not having workplace-based Reps is that your representative is fully independent, with no ties to your employer, so they can act solely in your best interests. Some workplaces may have Liaison Officers who promote the union, but they do not provide representation.
