The Workers of England Union has secured a significant victory for our English Media Group journalist member, allowing continued reporting in the Dover Harbour area.

The Dover Harbour Board had attempted to prevent our journalist from reporting on the English Channel migrant crisis on Dover Harbour Board land.

Member Testimonial

Our English Media Group member expressed gratitude:

“I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to fight my case than Robin Tilbrook (WEU Solicitor) and my counsel, Anna Loutfi. From start to finish, they made me feel at ease. I was given excellent advice, and they constantly kept me updated, making a nerve-wracking experience much easier. It goes without saying my case was handled professionally and efficiently. Anna was superb in court, delivering a successful outcome. It is reassuring to know that the union is there for me when I most need it, and I am proud to be a member.”

The case continues to unfold.
